FLAVOUR IS A FRONTIER
Natoora Sicilian Datterini Tomatoes
- Far too many Sicilian tomatoes are aggressively grown, using hydroponics and hormones.
- Ours are bee-pollinated and rich in minerals from the volcanic soil.
- We only work with two growers, Francesco and Bartolomeo.
- Their tomatoes have intense, concentrated sweetness.
- Because they are sun-ripened and minimally watered.
- Vines will be dry from the extreme heat, and the fruit will detach easily, but these are signs of quality.
Take it further
- Segment and stir make a raw pasta sauce: with fennel seeds, chilli, garlic and marjoram.
- Make a roast datterini and ricotta tart.
- Add to lunchboxes as an alternative to fruit.
Our packaging is plastic-free
- We have developed our own revolutionary packaging which is entirely plastic-free and home disposable. Each of our recyclable cardboard punnets is flow-wrapped with home-compostable film which, unlike traditional plastic flow-wrap, disintegrates within 180 days. Dispose of the black punnet in your normal recycling and the clear film in your food waste bin.
- Each punnet bears the `Plastic Free¿ mark of A Plastic Planet, a grassroots movement which aims to turn off the plastic tap.

Since 2004, we have put measures in place to ensure that any incidental food waste never reaches landfill. In the US, France and the UK, we work with foundations to ensure that viable food never goes to waste. In London we work with The Felix Project to help feed local communities. In any given week, we load 5 to 10 pallets of fresh produce onto Felix Project vans - the equivalent of 300kg of fresh fruit & vegetables diverted from landfill.

Deliciously sweet little gems
These are lovely little tomatoes, deliciously sweet & flavourful and the perfect size to munch on as a snack. They're tiny (ish) and terrifically tasty!
Ripe tomatoes
Closest you can get to a British summertime tomato at this time of year. Really flavoursome and good.
so sweet
I have been buying for about a month and these have been consistently delicious and keep. They are even sweeter cooked.
Mine were on the vine in a little cardboard box
Thicker skinned that some, these have a sweet flavour that reminds me of my favourite 'piccolo'. Lovely on a salad or in a cheese sandwich + they are a nice size to bite into without making a seedy mess.
Gorgeous little gems!
These naturally grown Italian tomatoes are glorious! They have an exquisite, intense deep full flavour with a perfect balance of sweetness - the depth of flavour is outstanding. Always a beautiful deep vibrant red colour and perfect small sizes. I usually buy organic produce, but in winter organic tomatoes are unripe, oversized, bitter and flavourless, and even in summer when organic tomatoes are from UK these Italian Datterini are hard to beat. They are delicious raw and roasted, and perfect added to pasta, risotto and pizza. Another winner from Natoora!
not on the vine?
These tomatoes do not come on the vine which is what i was expecting
