Natoora Italian Swiss Chard
- From June, we source Swiss Chard directly from Mantas, a small-scale grower in Norfolk.
- Mantas grows outdoors and picks the meaty leaves to order, sending them to us the same day for unrivalled freshness.
- By December, when temperatures drop in the UK, we move to the milder climate of Italy.
- Always cultivated on farms with minimal intervention, and allowed to grow slowly so that it develops crisp white stalks and very dark green leaves.
Take it further
- Sauté with butter and finely sliced garlic.
- Wilt into stews and curries just before serving.
Natoora's radical approach to seasonal sourcing is shaping the future of food
- We are revolutionising the food system.
- We work direct with growers who value flavour, biodiversity and heritage over yield.
- We give them the support they need to build a better future for food, rooted in small scale, sustainable agriculture that gives back to our planet.

Lovely fresh & flavoursome
As the title says very fresh & flavoursome
expensive but reflected in the taste
Love Swiss chard! Hard to get it where I now live so tried this one and steamed it and it had such amazing flavor (both chopped stems and the leaves) which whole family enjoyed. No bugs in it. When shopping in expensive London food store recently got their organic Swiss chard at half the price per kilo, but not only was it full of bugs but there was no flavor. Natoora are always superior, but as theyre so fresh, items tend to need to be eaten asap once received. I did find this particular product was crisp for ages however.
All stem no leaf
Maybe because of the season, got tons of stem with barely any leaves. Had to go out to buy more chard. Won't purchase again.
its organic!
And therefore you expect it to be dirty, with some little bugs etc. The quality is great and it tastes amazing. Dont keep it in the fridge too long, cook it asap, it does get mouldy/rotten quickly but thats very normal for organic chard (my grandma used to grow it, so I know)
rotten, slugs had eaten most of the leaves.
This is a mess. The leaves are ragged and full of slug damage. Its also rotten. The bag is full of water. Spoiled my planned meal. Thanks very much.
Wet mess
Came with only 2 days life but the leaves had turned to wet mush before the end of day 2
