FLAVOUR IS A FRONTIER
Natoora Yorkshire Forced Rhubarb
- We’re sourcing Forced Rhubarb direct from Jonathan and Robert in the Rhubarb Triangle, a nine-square mile area of Yorkshire renowned for its cold, damp climate and nitrogen-rich soil - the ideal growing conditions for rhubarb.
- The Forced Rhubarb growing process begins two years in advance when the crowns are planted outside in open fields to reach maturity and then after two summers are transported inside forcing sheds.
- Hand-harvested by candlelight, the two main varieties are Stockbridge Harbinger and Stockbridge Arrow varieties, known for elongated, fibreless stalks and deep gradient of colour.
Take it further
- Roasted with orange zest.
- Poached with ginger, served with pannacotta.

Sweet and tender rhubarb
I had this a substitution and never thought I would pay £7 for rhubarb. However the taste is exquisite and having lightly poached only need a small amount with Almond Nush Yoghurt.
beautiful red rhubard
This looked lovely and amazing red colour was was disappointing flavour wise. It was a replacement for the rhubard I had ordered, there is no way I would pay £7.20 for rhubarb. Too expensive, I'll just wait for the rhubard from my garden next time.
Vibrant colour
I received a very vibrant pink batch and they taste lovely as rhubarb jam
Trip Down Memory Lane.
Wonderful rhubarb. It took me back to my childhood and my grampa grew lots of fruit in our garden. We loved this rhubarb in a tart! Lush! Even my partner, who is a farmer, couldn't fault it! Neither could I. Now I'm making Rhubarb Crumble for all the family.
Rotten on Delivery
Gutted as was looking forward to the first rhubarb of the season = but was rotten mush on delivery
Great quality
After reading the reviews , I was a little apprehensive but it was unnecessary. I was delighted to receive fresh , clean , vibrant pink/red great quality stalks that cooked beautifully. Couldn't fault the product though at normal price is expensive
