Made for giants
The new size of the pads is obviously made for giants. Now much less comfortable to wear for the average sized woman.
Try them
Great cause. Biodegradable and organic cotton. But.... can leave marks. Absorbancy is OK for me. Not super soft, but you can get used to that.
Terrible quality
The organic cotton is commendable - no nasty plastic. However, I found these to be the worst sanitary towels I have ever tried. Firstly, they are narrower than any others I have tried so did not provide sufficient coverage. Secondly, the wings did not stay in place and had no absorbency or protection. Thirdly, the pad did not stick very well, but still managed to leave sticky marks. Fourthly, the absorbency of the pad was only suitable for my lightest day. So overall, I cannot use them for any other purpose than a panty liner, and I'm angry at having spent money on these.
terrible absorbency
Was looking for a pad that was better for the environment so tried these thinking theyd be good (most of the reviews are good). Dont bother if you are anything more than a light flow. Im medium to heavy and had to change each hour because it was so full it was leaking through my clothes. Not happy. The adhesive was also pretty rubbish and the fit not great. Never again
Brilliant eco sanitary towels
Firstly I never thought Ocado would stock something like this so when I found them I was so pleased. They have 0 plastic and are as environmentally friendly as possible. More people should be concerned with the plastic waste generated by sanitary towels. The only minus is that theyre a bit tricky to get on as the paper that holds the wings attaches to the main bit so unless you separate the paper first you may get the wings stuck. But once youve got the hang of it its easy!
It's OK, but broken easily
