Gag even if I cut in half
These are the hardest pills to swallow ever, even if I cut them in half it takes 3 or 4 mouth fulls of water to get them down, even with my head tilted backwards as somebody suggested! They taste ok without any after taste but I won't be buying again.
Vitamin C
I’m reviewing this product because I got a free coupon from Ocado. I'm not really a vitamin person but I've tried a few brands before. This one has no problems with taste. I licked it before swallowing and there's no surface taste or aftertaste. I had no problems swallowing it. For anyone who is struggling, hard pills like this you tilt your head back so that it goes to the back of your throat and then you swallow with water. Soft floaty capsules you tilt your head forward and it floats to the back of your throat.
really rather large!
You are meant to swallow these whole but Im afraid I have to bite them in half to swallow. They dont taste disgusting!
Good value
It's good to see low-priced, low acid vitamin C on Ocado. Personally, I had no issues swallowing them with water and have taken other supplements this size, so I don't thing the size is that unusual. I've deducted a star for the maltodextrin and as my husband agreed with other reviewers that they were too big. I'll buy again for myself, though.
Overly large and dry \- impossible to swallow!
Tried breaking in half - very hard. Tried chewing - BIG mistake, they're foul. Terrible design, no wonder they're on offer
very large and hard to swallow
For some reason, I assumed these were chewable - they are not. They are too large for my mum to swallow whole and she says she can't break them in half, as some people have recommended (arthritic hands).
