Favourite breakfast cereal
We love this cereal. It tastes unlike any other cereal I can think of but has a natural taste with a texture which is crunchy yet melts in the mouth easily. It does not taste at all sugary or fake unlike most cereals, but has a slight sweet taste ( just enough)
I agree with the previous reviewer
Below is my original review for this product which used to be great but has been changed for the worse. The first thing we noticed was that they have changed the packaging. The contents were bashed up flakes with copious amount of cereal dust. This was not Ocado's fault at all. It was the producer. We bought several more packets but every one was the same. So they have presumably changed their production process to its detriment. I wrote to Natures Path who say that they have referred this to their Quality Assurance team. Maybe others could write as well to make them realise that this is a definite problem. We have had to stop buying it now. If it improves again, could someone let me know via a review please. Many thanks. Here is my original review to show what a good product this USED to be. -------- We only ever have Natures Path cereals or porridge for breakfast. These are pleasant cereal flakes that are not too sweet. We add berries and whole milk. If I feel strong urges to snack I will often have a small bowl of this instead.
Formula has changed
The formula for this cereal (and not just the packaging) has changed and not for the best. Someone out there has turned what was previously one of the best cereal around into brittle tasteless crumbs and dust that turns quickly into mash. No longer recommended.
Great wholegrain cereal
I really like this. The flakes taste good and are a good size and texture (they can be a bit bland and small in certain other wholegrain, sugar-free cereals). Im normally the first to moan about overly sweetened cereals, but I dont find this too sweet at all. It may depend on the milk you have (I have unsweetened pea milk these days, but I used to have rice milk and I think the latter combined with this cereal would have been too sweet). For those concerned about gluten: its scientifically proven that most people who think theyre gluten intolerant are in fact struggling to digest the FODMAPs in some grains (like wheat). The grains in this cereal are all low FODMAP, so its worth giving it a go. I find this very digestible.
Addictive !
This is one of my favourite cereals and I always end up having two bowl fulls, full of flavour with plenty of fibre.
