Awful tastes
Wow, this completely ruined my breakfast as the taste is over powering. completely new to protein powder so hoping there are other options!
Icing sugar's evil twin
This is the most disgusting thing I have ever put in my mouth, and I have been there and done THAT. I imagine if you had to clean a really dirty aquarium this is what the scrapings from the bottom would taste like. It took me ages to work out that to make it remotely palatable you need to mix it with fruit juice, I liked pink grapefruit. Every time you open the container it is so fine it just floats in the air, hence describing it as icing sugar's evil twin. I mixed it in equal parts with wheat grass and cocoa as per the Fatburner protocol, which doesn't help the taste but stops it floating about so much. If I ever buy Spirulina again I will get the capsule form so it goes down more easily. I can't tell if it's done me any good or not as I didn't taken it consistently because of the awful taste and mouth feel, so I'm giving it a benefit-of-the-doubt 3 out of 5. I believe that Spirulina is used as a blue/green food colouring in sweets which I think might be adults' revenge on kids.
Great quality
It's actually quite nice once you get used to the taste!
Horrible but sooo good!
A great product which has helped immensely with digestive issues, BUT it tastes horrible! Thankfully one of best skills I picked up at university was the art of downing pints! So add it to cherry juice, bolt it one go, and you won't notice the taste! Be brave its worth it!
Great in Smoothies
Great way to get spirulina into your diet! Love super foods!
