Was great, then bad batch?!
I would have recommended this wine as I was really enjoying it, so much so that I bought 3 bottles last time, 1 bottle wasn't very pleasant, the other 2 were fizzy and went down the drain. Hopefully a bad batch but am reluctant to try again..
Hit and miss
I ordered 2 bottles. One was very nice and I liked the fact that it didnt give me a headache in the morning. However I had just opened the other one and it is like vinegar. No way I can even try to drink this. Will not be ordering again
very variable
I used to really like this although occasionally had a duff bottle. Sadly I have just discarded (well put aside for cooking only!) three bottles all bought at different times which were completely off. I guess its the risk of not having the preservatives in. I will only try this now straight from being bought in case its a storage issue from sitting in the kitchen.
vinegar
This tasted nothing like a merlot, I think it was possibly off. It tasted like vinegar and was cloudy.
So hit and miss
When it's good it's great, but when it's not it's so bitter with an after taste. Really want to like this wine as love that it has no harmful added sulphates.
So strange ... not in a nice way
There must be something strange with this wine ... tasted bitter at first then slightly off ... leaving you with the feeling you just add a sort of bad Ribena
