dry and hard
yes it's a dried fruit, but these are rock hard and totally bone dry. also they seem to use some odd technique to stone them which results in them being turned in on themselves, so they're not very nice to eat as they're like tiny dry cups. good that they're organic, but I'm not sure why I got them as the m&s ones are cheaper so I'll be buying them next
Bit on the dry side
Not as soft as I expected, but flavour was pleasant enough for prunes.
hard & dry
As above , very disappointing hard & dry.
yuck
hard, dry, small, expensive
Fantastic taste
I didn't want to buy these to eat as a snack but as a breakfast or pudding. I am currently going through chemo and the side effects (among others) is the dreaded word 'constipation'. Put about 150 grams in a small saucepan, covered in boiling water (sugar or sweetener of choice) and simmer away until the prunes are soft, luscious, and you also have a wonderful syrup. I have with either natural yogurt or as a childish memory treat, with custard. No constipation in sight!. Highly recommend these prunes (but cooked in the way I did them) - others may enjoy them as snacks.
Beware the stones
My first portion had 1 stone out of 5 prunes eaten.Today it was 2 stones from 3 fruit. I appreciate that with all pitted fruit there is a chance of stones still being present, but would expect no more than one or maybe 2 per pack. The prunes are nice though, just watch out for stones.
