Too many bone pieces
I used to buy this every week, but the last packet had far too many large bone pieces to feed to my small dog. I had to go through it all by hand and take them out - not pleasant.
Easy raw feeding.
I recently changed my dog over to this lamb flavour for a change (she was previously eating the beef formula, and she loves both). I particularly like this brand as they offer dog food that does not contain any poultry (which my dog has allergies to). I found other raw brands of dog food generally seemed to have a percentage of chicken mixed in, but this brand doesn't. Feeding her these has prevented any further allergic reactions.
Good quality product
We have 2 GSD's, one of who has epilepsy and CDM. Nutriment was recommended as is has had a positive effect of some dogs with these conditions. Both our dogs love this food all flavours - and their coats are in great condition. There is no waste and the containers are very practical for if you have a smaller dog as the containers are resealable. Highly recommended.
My dogs are thriving
Both my dogs are thriving on this, and the other varieties of Nutriment. Seems very digestible and contains complementary ingredients to balance diet.
Not as convenient for small dogs
Our usual raw food delivery was delayed so I ordered this as a replacement. Our dog loved it but the packaging is not practical for a small dog like ours, who will eat this over a couple of days. I do appreciate their labelling and how they explain the ingredients thoroughly. I think will order some in the future just for variety. Overall, a decent offering.
A convenient, mess-free way of feeding raw
We switched over to largely using raw dog food from kibble as our pup was repeatedly having issues with his poop. Switching to raw has resulted in a huge improvement in the poop department and he rarely now suffers from post-food zoomies. We were put off feeding raw as we perceived that it would involve lots of effort and mess. This is no more hassle than feeding any other wet food. Only the boneless beef has any "smell" other than fresh meat. The lamb flavour is our boy's absolute favourite. Nutriment is the best of the four or five brands we've tried. We like the 500g tray format, which is one days worth of food for our 25kg pup and we can just about find the space for a week's worth of food in the freezer. The food keeps for three days in the fridge - so at a push we only need to find space for four packs in the freezer. It's worth saying that all the versions sold on Ocado appear to be COMPLETE foods. Nutriment do a non-complete (i.e. meat only) version, but that isn't sold here. The food IS really solidly frozen. If we transfer a tray from the freezer to the fridge overnight then it's still frozen in the morning. However, it defrosts really quickly if you put the tray in bowl of water. The packaging IS also frustratingly rubbish and I'd say that one in ten or fifteen packs have cracked edges - so do check before defrosting. The boneless beef is more wiffy than other flavours. But the dog loves it. I was surprised to see some reviews from people whose dogs have been ill after eating. We've been using Nutriment for a year and haven't had any issues.
