Excellent fresh good size chicken legs

I was offered these on a Flash Sale offer which made them exceptionally good value for money. In great condition. I opened one to use last night and one for the freezer. No smell whatsoever, so they were obviously perfectly fresh. Really good size chicken legs, big enough to have just one each, which isn't always the case. Cooked brilliantly to tasty crispy skin and succulent chicken. I made my own potato wedges and roasted some veg all in the same baking tray for an easy dinner. I think these make a good value easy meal even at full price.

Surprise, surprise

This was a favourite of our family, especially as chicken is so versatile and 4 reasonable sized portions easily fed 4 adults. However, the last couple of times the portions have been odd sizes and this latest tray looked fine before I opened it but actually had 2 legs and 2 very small drumstick so I couldn’t do what I’d planned. Ocado I’d sooner pay a little more than have this surprise.

Grissley, Wont buy again

Not as nice as the Oakham M&S ones, wont be buying again. Lots of gristle and fat on these.

good when not off

These are good value but tend to go off before the best before date - best to cook them sooner rather than later. Ocado should probably look at QC a bit more.

Good size, good price

Great if you want to do a midweek roast, and so much cheaper than some cuts of chicken.
