Perfect for a light lunch or snack, these mini chicken tikka naans are ideal. Ready in just 15 mins, they are so versatile and a guaranteed crowd pleaser. We’ve topped ours with chicken but try these with tikka-marinated roasted cauliflower or paneer for a veggie version.
Ingredients:
¼ cucumber, deseeded and finely chopped
2 tomatoes, deseeded and finely chopped
1 small red onion, finely chopped
4 mini naan breads
6 tbsp plain yoghurt
1 garlic clove, grated
1 tbsp dried mint
2 (150g) packet chicken tikka breast pieces, shredded
3 sprigs coriander, leaves picked
Method:
Step 1
Toss the cucumber, tomatoes and red onion together in a bowl until well mixed to make a kachumber then set aside.
Step 2
Heat the grill to medium. Cook the naan bread to packet instructions.
Step 3
Meanwhile, mix the yoghurt, garlic and dried mint in a small bowl then season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Step 4
Remove the naan bread from the oven and evenly spread the yoghurt mixture over each. Top with shredded chicken and transfer to a serving plate.
Step 5
Top each with 2 tbsp of the kachumber mix then transfer the rest to a small serving dish. Sprinkle the naans with coriander and serve with the bowl of remaining kachumber.

unexpectedly good
Thought Id give these a try as being able to put a naan in the toaster is a great time saver . The family really liked them - tasty and fluffy inside- a great staple for the freezer I have toasted from frozen and they were really good.
nice but would prefer stronger garlic
these are a nice size and good enough for me to frequently buy, however i would prefer them to up the garlic abit.
Perfect size
These are lovely Nan breads whilst also being a great size for individual portions for the family. They arent hugely flavoursome but I use these to dip into my curry anyway so that doesnt make much difference to me.
flavourless
These are very bland and flavourless - not even a hint of garlic
Great snack.
These are nice to have with curry or chilli. Add a little water on top and it puffs up nicely.
