A memorable and deceptively easy-drinking IPA. This is an authentic recreation of the beer style created for, and enjoyed throughout, the Empire. Goldings, Fuggles and American Cascade hops combine to give a crisp, citrus hop aroma, with a balanced, bittersweet finish.

A true IPA

one of best mainstream IPAs

Flavoursome, bittersweet and a crisp finish. Lots of citrus. Ideal for the hot summer.

Was good, not now.

In the clear glass botles, this was excellent. Best IPA, up with the best ales, was a favourite. Now Marstons produce it and Ocado sell it in amber bottles, it has changed for the worse. Lost its bouquet and changed the flavour. Shame, but I won't be buying again.
