More of an antipasti sauce
I was hoping for the sundried tomato equivalent of standard tomato purée, but this is more of an antipasti spread/pasta sauce. Not as punchy as I would have expected from sundried tomato paste either. I won’t be repurchasing this for its intended purpose.
Not what youd expect
This is not what youd expect of something labelled as sun dried tomato paste. However, its a really useful and tasty ingredient once you know what youre doing with it. We like it stirred through couscous, with roast peppers and red onion in a pasta salad, and stirred into a basic tomato sauce to liven it up.
Not Great
There are plenty of other similar products out there that taste far superior.
terrible taste
the taste is really unpleasant
not sure what's meant to be
horrible taste, watery and salty
Watery
This is nothing like the typically rich sundried tomato pastes I usually buy. It's watery and barely coats pasta, just sinks to the bottom of the bowl. To me the taste is odd too. Not quite sure what it's intended to be used for.
