Babies and children's skin is thinner and more absorbent than adults, so it is a less effective barrier to chemical toxins. The rates of eczema, allergies, and skin sensitivities among children are on the rise and the early introduction of harsh toiletries onto sensitive skin may be a factor.

It should be illegal to call this toothpaste
Pro's: organic - it's well established that some pesticides are harmful and there are viable alternatives to many of them. Con's: It's one thing to be anti-pesticide and quite another to be anti-science. Fluoride is essential for dental health, this is a scientific fact. This so called 'toothpaste' contains no fluoride and is aimed at children, a group who are increasingly suffering from tooth decay and early tooth loss in country with very limited access to dental care. Unfortunately many people see the word 'organic' and think it means it's healthy for their children, it doesn't! The company selling this stuff should be ashamed! They shouldn't legally be allowed to call it toothpaste. This is an unethical product.
My holistic dentist recommended “fluoride free”
My holistic dentist recommended to go fluoride free. Very clean, gentle ingredients. Not just for children. I’m considering making my own toothpaste but this is the next best thing. For those parents concerned about tooth decay with “non-fluoride” toothpaste there are many people who have never used fluoride toothpaste their whole lives and have no cavities/fillings. Yes, the consistency is a bit runnier than “ normal” toothpastes but I guess that’s the price you pay for clean ingredients. I just make sure I don’t squeeze too hard and hold the tube as upright as possible. You won’t get the “frothing” that we are conditioned into thinking we’re getting “clean” as there’s no harmful frothing agent such as SLS. It just takes a few goes to get used to this.
Perfect for those first few years of teeth
I wouldn't use anything else on babies or small children as you know they are going it be swallowing this and it's completely non toxic. So complete peace of mind and nice clean teeth too.
without fluoride its for aesthetics only
Dentists do not reccomend toothpaste without fluoride. This is not good for your children's teeth. This is marketing based entirely on your unfounded fears. Unless you are your child are allergic (extremely rare) then fluoride is perfectly safe and needed for healthy teeth.
Not recommended by dentist
My dentist doesn't recommend this toothpaste because it has no fluoride which she says is essential. I hadn't ever noticed the fact that it's fluoride free. The mandarin flavour one by the same brand DOES have fluoride and my son prefers it anyway, so I won't be buying this one again. (But if your dentist has a reason for wanting less fluoride, this one was popular with my children. )
Excellent
I am a Senior, and Regular Toothpaste irritates my Mouth, and causes Soreness. So l was advised by my Doctor, to use Childrens Toothpaste. What a difference, no more Soreness. So its not just for Children after all. Highly Recommended.
