Cooking Instructions - General. For best results use the hob method.
Do not reheat once cooled.; Hob - From Ambient. Gentle heat 7-8 mins.
Allow approximately 40g oats per person. Place the oats in a small saucepan and add 300ml of cold water or milk for a creamier porridge. Bring to the boil and simmer for 7-8 minutes, stirring continuously. Add sugar or salt to taste.; Microwave - From Ambient. Cat B 650W: 1 Serving: 5 mins, stir then 5 mins, 2 Servings: 6 mins, stir then 5 mins.
Cat D 750W: 1 Serving: 5 mins, stir then 4 1/2 mins, 2 Servings: 6 mins, stir then 4 1/2 mins.
Cat E 850W: 1 Serving: 5 mins, stir then 4 mins, 2 Servings: 6 mins, stir then 4 mins.
Microwave ovens vary: refer to handbook. Place 40g of oats per person in a large microwaveable bowl and stir in 300ml of cold water or milk for a creamier porridge heat on full power. Stir half way through. Allow to stand for 1 minute. Add sugar or salt to taste.
