gorgeous
Beautiful texture and subtle flavour.
Lovely
I really like that they don't have additives or much salt. I tried them grilled in a bun with cream cheese, avocado and black garlic paste and a side salad.
delicious burgers
Love these
Fine but bland
The mini burgers looked colourful and attractive, with lots of visible pieces of vegetable spread throughout. They had a pleasant texture owing to the quinoa and linseeds, which added both a satisfying crunch and a slight nuttiness. However, the product could definitely do with more seasoning, as the overall flavour was rather bland, and neither the red onion nor the chives imparted any flavour. The vegetables themselves mostly melded into one flavour of a generic vegetable burger/nugget, though the sweetcorn did stand out. Additionally, they were a touch on the claggy side due to the proportion of potato. I also found that the burgers took a lot longer to cook than what was stated on the packet, barely beginning to brown after 20 minutes at 220°C in a fan-assisted oven. All in all, these are not a bad product but there are more flavourful vegetable offerings on the market and I do not think I would buy these again. (As a side note, the burgers’ nutritional information on the packet I received differed slightly from that shown on this webpage- which I made Ocado aware of- so that is something to bear in mind if this factors into your purchasing decisions.)
hard bits
hard bits that that get stuck in your teeth, not very tasty. They ended up in the bin
Tasty, healthy burgers
I thought these were very nice, good flavour, texture and no bad ingredients.
