bring back pyramids and the previous blend
After 40 years of only buying pg tips, cant bear the new flavour so have switched to Yorkshire tea.
eek!
Pg tips listen to your customers. Bring back the pyramids!!
absolutely revolting
What more can I say? I always bought PG Tips since 1978. But what have they done to the tea? It tastes dreadful. No flavour at all. I wont be buying them anymore.
Downgraded tea!
I'll be honest I've always had PG, my parents and grandparents before them have always had PG. I was pretty concerned about what they have done to them after reading the recent reviews. I always thought the whole pyramid bag thing was just a gimmick, so I'm not bothered about that. But I have to say the overall quality of the bags has been downgraded. I've not had one split or tear, but they just feel cheaper. The actual tea itself seems fine to me. Maybe I'm not a discerning as some of the other reviewers, but I don't really think I can taste any difference!
What have they done to the old tea bags??
I have only gone on to review these as they have changed the recipe and they are now weak and terrible tasting - taste like cheap, basic tea bags versus what the previously used it be which was the best, lovely brewed strong and flavoursome tea. The first sign was the square tea bags then you realise the taste. My husband said - why dont you get that nice tea anymore can we get that again instead of this PG tips (he hadnt realised it was the same brand that has become horrible). Shame - will be looking for new tea bags now. Why did they change such a great recipe?
Awful like everyone says
I can't believe this has changed. We were loyal PG tips. How can they call this original when its changed so much and for the worse.
