Product information
Simply fry onion, ginger and garlic. Sizzle the spice paste to release flavours and brown your meat or vegetables. Add in chopped tomatoes and coconut milk, and simmer until all cooked through. Garnish with fresh coriander to serve.
Serve alongside Patak's Naans, Pappadums, Chutneys and Pickles for the complete restaurant experience with your curry.

Preparation and Usage
Instructions
Patak's Curry Pastes make excellent marinades, used on their own or blended 50-50 with plain yoghurt. Marinate meat then bake, BBQ or grill.
It is important that this product is not consumed uncooked.
Recipes
- 1 Onion
- 2cm Piece of ginger
- 4 Chicken breasts
- 200g Chopped tomatoes
- 400m/coconut milk
- Fresh coriander
Comforting chicken curry for 4
1 Fry diced onion in 3 tbsp of oil until soft. Add the finely chopped ginger with 1/2 a jar of spice paste and sizzle to release flavours. Cook for 2 mins, add 50ml water and cook until evaporated.
2 Add diced chicken and sear, then loosen with the tomatoes and ripple through the coconut milk. Simmer uncovered for 15 mins until the chicken is cooked through. Garnish with fresh coriander to serve.
Try with 1/2 a cauliflower cut into florets and add 1 diced courgette to the simmering sauce.

Surprise hit with fussy 7 year old
Thats it really - our 7 year old who does not have an adventurous palate likes this and so do we. So its an unexpected win in our house
Salty, but delicious.
Also, I wouldnt call it mild. I bought this to make a curry for my 9 month old and had to tone it down with dairy. Made a chicken curry using this + cream and it was absolutely delicious.

We have tried all the Pataks Pastes and the family love them. Rather than mess around using half a jar we tend to purchase 8 breasts of chicken and double the recipe on the back, varying the additional water to be added. We cook slowly for 2 hours and have some fresh and then freeze individual portions, ready to be defrosted and reheated for a quick meal.

Love this. Always have a jar in the fridge door (topped with a spoon of any old oil in between uses to stop it drying out). Definitely mild: I add a cinnamon stick and a chopped finger chilli for a biryani and its perfect

This is medium spice level if not using dairy - not mild but you could add a smaller amount and use dairy if you need it mild. Made some excellent curry’s with this.
