Tasted a bit artificial
I found the lemon flavor a bit artificial, which was really disappointing. I think this cake has potential if that is fixed

Patchy flavour and a bit dry
The lemon flavour in this was very patchy - some slices were so lemony it was overpowering and others tasted of no lemon at all. It was also a bit dry. We wouldnt buy again unfortunately.

At first I thought it was artificial lemon flavour, it does have a washing liquid-esque taste to it. However, if you read the ingredients, its actually lemon oils and paste. So its really just overwhelming real lemons. Its a shame as the cake is so deliciously soft, but it just tastes too strong. The cake I received today feels like its been baked today- its so soft and moist. If you have weak taste, this is the cake for you. If you have sensitive taste, definitely avoid lol.
