Amazing
Maybe small but these are so tasty, filo wrapped lamb and beans. Flavour is spot on. Im a big fan of picards foods
Teeny tiny!
I had read the reviews where some said that they were small, but further reviews made me think that they were a special product, so I succumbed & ordered them for a treat. Each one is very small and in my opinion had no flavour. Massively overpriced for what they are!
Another excellent Picard product
Delicious. Lots of flavour and a good amount of lamb. A great simple supper, good with hummus.
Delicious
Light tasty lamb and veg parcel, perfect with a Moroccan style dinner. Lightly spiced, worth the money.
Disappointing
I thought I deserved little treat. Paid full price for these tiny little pastillas. I couldn't taste the lamb because they were filled almost completely with carrot. The carrot was hard. I like carrots to be crunchy but I don't think that's how they should be in this little pastry. The pastry was transparent and not unlike a cake paper. Overall, nothing like the image on the box, but then what is these days. Spiced lamb in filo pastry - this ought to be gorgeous and it really wasn't.
tasty lamb pastry
I heated these in my Halogen cooker for the stated time after brushing a little olive oil to brown them. Served with a Picard vegetable mound it made a quick and tasty light meal with a jacket potato it would have been very filling. The flavour is mild but tasty and the filo pastry very crunchy if cooked at the right heat. I served some spicy chutney with it as I like some moisture or sauce on my meals. Very enjoyable and no nasty additives. You cook it straight from frozen and it takes about 20-25 minutes depending on your oven. A good standby.
