Lovely!
Lovely, fresh-tasting mackerel. The odd tiny bone but thats fish for you! Will certainly buy again.
Lovely, Fresh Mackerel.
Large, fresh fillets and I've yet to find a single bone! Perfect sautéed in a drop of rapeseed oil with some cracked black pepper and enjoyed with a freshly baked baguette and garden salad.
Not fresh
I defrosted the mackerels and tried to marinate it as much as I can in hopes of getting rid of that strong fishy smell. It smelled a lot more horrible when it was cooking in the oven. Not fresh at all
Excellent for a quick meal
These are very good value if you are trying to feed a fairly large family. Defrost them, put them in the oven at 220 degrees C with a creme fraiche and mustard sauce for about 8 minutes and voila. You have a meal. They are quite tasty and have a good texture though seem to be a little bit salty.
love these!
Tasty, well packaged, easy to cook - a lovely treat to have on hand
Full of bones
These were full of bones. Not filleted well.
