Gorgeous!
Can't believe they are on Clearance, These are lovely, please keep them!
3 stars for the packaging
In a word, underwhelming. small, with an incredibly "subtle" flavour i.e. hardly any. Beautiful packaging, has the wow factor. The chocolates absolutely don't and they're small and pale.. That's it.
Not a 'grown up' truffle
These taste more of lemon than they do of gin. They are overall too sweet and a bit something and nothing. They are not worth the price by a long shot! We've enjoyed better, cheaper chocolate. I was surprised by the popping candy and not in a good way - it adds nothing good to the experience. The box is attractive but the contents disappointing.
Wonderful fun
I absolutely love these chocolates which have a subtle gin taste, fantastic popping candy, sweet white chocolate and a truffle centre.
Wonderful
A brilliant treat. Beautifully packaged in cellophane inside tissue paper within a sturdy & very decorative green box with gold lettering. Allowing them to slowly dissolve in my mouth I get the intense sweetness of the white chocolate, suddenly tempered with sophisticated dark chocolate . Be patient & then you an hear gentle crackling, honestly, & taste the lemon & gin slowly creeping in. Not like liqueur chocolates, which I detest, at all & didn't really taste alcoholic. I like these a lot.
Poor quality
Bought these in a flash sale and they had that weird coating chocolate gets when it gets old or stored at the wrong temperature.
