Too hard
Not much flavour, hard to bite into.
Best cracker
To me, they taste a bit like popcorn, and ideal for anyone trying to avoid gluten and similar lectins in corn, rye, wheat, oats, etc. In my opinion they are the best product of their type available. My ideal paté delivery vehicle.
excellent with the right topping
I have found two very good toppings for these: (1) For meat eaters: thinly sliced cooked beef. Butter them lightly and add mustard or whatever to taste. First time I'd never thought of eating sliced beef with crackers before but these suggested it to me. Delicious. (2) Vegetarian option: humous. Add some good olive oil or whatever you like. Usually I often top with avocado. Also very good. I also tried another reviewer's suggestion of tinned fish (sardines) but don't agree that it works well.
Healthy
love love these. yes they can be 'tasteless' - but they are gluten free and no nasties. great alternative to bread. i have topped with almond butter and banana in the mornings. and with cheese for a snack. also great broken up as 'crackers' in soup.
HEMP THINS
Gluten free delicious topped with cheese as a light snack
excellent for losing weight as very unpleasant
I gave these a go as trying to find a replacement for discontinued Kallo salt and balsamic vinegar corn and whole grain rice crackers. These are really unpleasant - the texture is a mixture of cardboard and polystyrene. Hemp is a livestock bedding and should be used as such.
