gritty
Bought this because Ocado has been out of unflavoured whey for weeks. This is gritty and unpleasant. Will definitely be going back to whey.
non recyclable packaging
Pulsin make a big deal about renewable energy in their products but all their packaging is completely non recyclable. This is simply not ok in 2019. Love the product. Shame about the packaging.
Revolting
This vegan protein powder is supposed to have "neutral taste". Mixed with Koko milk and raspberries, this is overpowering and very savoury "roast like" and unpleasant. I had high hopes after ruling out pea protein but I am really disappointed in both. Still trying to find a palatable vegan alternative.
Finally a protein product that suits me
I don't want dairy protein or heavily flavoured ones; pea protein tastes awful and I would prefer not to eat too much soy and already rely on soy yogurts and things. I thought I'd never find a protein supplement that works and is palatable but this is it. I mix it into muesli or into foods in which it naturally hides - really good product.
Flour taste
I have blended 2 spoons with hemp milk, bananas and berries and It tastes like flour. Im going to try with just a spoon, but I was hoping to add a little bit more protein as this is no flavoured.
Good vegan protein source
It is a bit dusty, but otherwise easy to handle and with a neutral flavour. We use it to ensure we're getting enough proteins and it seems to do the trick.
