Does the job!
My husband eats this regularly, especially while training for running long distance. Good protein hit
gross but protein
literally tastes horrible. can’t eat it without drowning it in chocolate granola. and even then i’m gagging on my last bites. wouldn’t recommend this to anyone who wishes to casually eat oats. but for the sake of upping my protein intake, i will continue to buy, eat and suffer
Thick and delicious
I prefer this to the regular version, must tastier however the golden syrup flavour is barely discernible.
Odd taste
I bought these as a way of adding protein to my breakfast, thinking the taste would not be too different from the regular version. Unfortunately this was not the case. The texture is fine, if anything slightly better than the regular version, but the taste is very different. It is difficult to detect the golden syrup flavour at all - I actually went to check the pack to make sure I didn't buy the plain flavour by mistake - and there is a strange bitter aftertaste. Will not be buying again.
Really unpleasant texture
I bought this by mistake, intending to buy the regular Golden Syrup flavour Oat So Simple which I really like. The texture is really unpleasant and chalky and the flavour isn't much better either. It also comes in 8 larger sachets than the normal 10, presumably as a way of increasing the amount of protein per portion. I hate waste but I couldn't even eat half a bowlful. Horrible!
strange taste and texture...
I liked the idea of their being more protein in this product, but didnt like the taste... will be reverting to the original version. It could simply be a matter of personal preference.
