Quick and convenient
We had this as a free gift from Ocado. I made it into a warm salad with chicken, veggies and a herby/spicy dressing. It was really quick and tasty! The grains on their own are a little bland, so definitely need a sauce or dressing, but they are a convenient and healthy ingredient to have on hand for weekday meals. I will be buying these in the future!
convenient options
Convenient option to boil your own. Nice taste. Only disadvantage for us is that one packet is too much for one dinner for the two of us so you end up wasting a third of it which is a shame a rather expensive compared to boil your own grains. Nevertheless a convenient option, quick to prepare and less washing up!
Tasty and easy
Well cooked with still a nice crunch. Super easy to use and great to have in the cupboard. Very versatile in salads or pan fried with some nice veg.
Nice taste and handy
I’m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. Tasty with a short ingredient list, which is always good, and quite handy to have in the cupboard. Quite expensive though, so something to save for those last minute preps.
Why use seed oils??
Shame as it could have olive oil but seed oils are highly processed and dangerous unhealthy fats. I won't be buying unless better oils are used.
good option
I keep one always in the cupboard when we need to prepare lunch boxes for work and we run out of other fresh stuff. I like the taste, how practical it is, and the fact that it is organic. However took off one star because I do not particularly like the fact that there is sunflower oil added.
