So versatile
I don't eat red meat, so this is my chosen soya mince for chillies, bolognese & lasagne. I think it's great.
Inedible
I haven’t been able to get my usual preferred brand of veggie mince for the last few weeks so, as I now also have to be strictly gluten-free, I reverted to Quorn because it used to be an OK back-up product and because my options are also limited. However, this is very different from the Quorn mince I last ate. Not only is it in large random chunks rather than being mince-like, the texture is soft, pasty, unpleasant and really unpalatable and also has an odd taste, despite adding stock, seasoning, etc. Really disappointing and I’m sure Quorn could do much better. They certainly used to! I shall keep looking.
good value pack
Used in a shepherds pie and tasted great
Changed recipe
Used Quorn mince for years instead of beef. Now they've changed it. I really wish they would stop changing things for the worse.
Nice, but seems bigger pieces?
Had this for years, but just opened a bag and the mince seems really large pieces instead of a finer mince.
Converted
Full of flavour, good priced alternative to minced meat, only thing I would say more like small chunks than 'mince'
