Cant go wrong
Ive been struggling to have time to make lunch between meetings the last few weeks, and having these back in the fridge really helps. They are a great quick ready to eat grab as you really cant go wrong with them.
Disappointing and leave heartburn aftertaste
I was really pleased to find a vegetarian sausage roll however these were disappointing. The texture and the pastry was quite hard there was no puff to it or softness when I warm them up they just went hard as well so they weren't nice hot or cold. What concern me most was the awful stomachache they left me with and the heartburn aftertaste. It wasn't just a one-off and it wasn't me because there were four in the pack and I had it on each one I ate I gave the final one to a friend and they felt the same. Both of us took an antacid as well I won't be buying these again I don't think they'll fit to be fed to a dog.
Dont rate the taste
I enjoyed these the first time I had them but the taste just isnt very pleasant. I heat them up but still, Im just not feeling it. There are better tasting alternatives.
A favourite
These are our favourite vegetarian sausage rolls - to me they taste better than meaty ones. Best heated up, and lovely with some caramelised onion chutney on the side.
Best eaten hot
When eaten cold the pastry is heavy and dry and the filling is tasteless, but when heated the pastry becomes lovely and light and the filling is full of flavour and absolutely dedicious
Enjoyable but unpleasant aftertaste
I do enjoy these but the pastry leaves a coating on the top of my mouth and makes me think theyre really unhealthy
