Very pleasant
A decent enough loaf of bread: I think it is in the nature to be a bit 'dry' compared with some breads. Nothing to complain of.
Simply the best
I got this as a substitute for Irwins soda bread which had been in the flash sale , so it was at a special price. It was so good I think I would pay full price for this. Delicious.
Very nice
It tastes good but also tastes healthy. High quality. Slices are very small, though. about half the size of a normal slice of bread.
Disappointingly dry
I was so disappointed with this bread it was far far too dry! It might have been a bad batch but it fell apart and was hard to eat.
Delicious
Makes delicious cheese on toast, lovely buttered served with a hearty soup, perfect with pate and crumbed on a cauliflower cheese or just warmed with butter when you need to use it up. I cant fault it.
Why still out of stock!
After nothing from Irwins for ages, got the sodabread in one of my deliveries recently but now everything always out of stock! Stoneground Wheaten is my go-to bread when available, for long life, portability in a suitcase, delicious taste and the best and easiest breadcrumb-making on the planet: what's not to like except being out of stock?
