Fine, but not Japanese quality
This is fine rice and tastes good. In Japan rice has to meet very high standards, so one doesn't find grains with little black bits in them. as one does in this product. They're not 'bugs' as one reviewer said, at least in my case. But there are other, more expensive products named 'sushi rice' on Ocado that are better quality. Perhaps use this as your everyday rice, and go for the more expensive one when you're having guests over!

Our go-to sushi rice
This is reliable and well packed. Tastes great and has a good springy texture and works well in other recipes as well. I have used this as a sub for glutinous rice. Tastes just as good
