Refreshing
Had this every day whilst in hospital for four weeks. Nice and refreshing, not at all bitter and not too sweet-you can adjust the strength to taste depending on how much you dilute it with water. Perfect to take in sips if your feel nauseous, or have an upset tummy. It also helps with your energy if your sugar levels are a little low. Been drinking this since I was a little girl. Always a repeat purchase in our house, perfect for the whole family.
Retro but great
Great taste just as we remembered.
Just like momma used to make
The taste of lemon barley cast me back to my childhood, mother ordered every week. this was our fizzy drink of the day with soda water! great memories Found it by chance so happy i did
fantastic product
This product dilute with water and ice tastes like the M&S fresh lemonade. Its lovely and refreshing.
Love this
We love this and have had it for years. Not too sweet with a nice lemon refreshing taste.
Refreshing and tasty
Unlike many fondly remembered drinks from my childhood this didnt disappoint. A good lemony taste with the barley making it feel more satisfying than normal squash. Because of this one needed less to add to a glass of water thus making it an economical choice. This answers the fact of the content being smaller than most other squashes. Price higher than cheaper normal squash but worth it. I guess the recipe hasnt changed hence making the flavour as it is and was. A change from my normal squash however now will be a regular in my shopping basket. I havent seen the Robinsons Orange and Barley Water of old, so will give the Orange Fruits with Barley a try. Hurray the bottle is recyclable!
