'This is one of Britain’s great contributions to culinary culture:
that ludicrously rich cream that seems to flirt with the idea of becoming butter. Scones would be nothing without it! And it is the mandatory accompaniment in my house to treacle tart – and so much else besides. There’s a rather wonderful customer comment under the Filotea tagliatelle range that warmly advocates turning it into a sauce for pasta along with some grated parmesan and butter, and I fully endorse this notion!' Cornish woman who grew up with Roddas
It's the favourite one for a reason. I've been eating Roddas since my childhood in Cornwall. My nan always served it. Tip for a naughty and insanely delicious treat - Cornish "thunder and lightning" (scones with clotted cream and drizzled golden syrup).
perfect with homemade scone
Most people have opinions on whether to jam or cream first on a scone, in our house we dont care about that, but is it a scone as in cone or scone as it gone? My scouse husband says scon. He also calls our son scon head . Great cream btw. Buy it and enjoy
Excellent
Really nice cream, very rich, will be buying again.
Scone. Jam. Lovely
Bought specifically for scones. Beautiful
The best!
This is simply the best clotted cream and is so versatile. I mostly use it for adding to curries, mac n cheese, risotto and dolloped on puddings and ice cream. Buy it every week!
lovely cream
This was everything wanted from a clotted cream! Went lovely on a scone. Very tasty.
