Goes off too fast

I have noticed that it goes off so fast, even if you use clean tools to extract some pieces and place it in the fridge immediately, the next time you open it it's all mouldy. Not experienced that with authentic pink pickled ginger, so going back to that one after trying few jars of this.

Lovely with sushi, although I often find myself eating it straight from the jar as a snack!! One to always keep in stock.

pickled ginger for sushi!

I love pickled ginger and I'm so happy that okado has this. It goes well with sushi of course and also fried rice too!

Nice thin slices of ginger

I got this as a free gift and have tried it with sushi and with smoked salmon on sourdough bread. It was delicious with both. The slices are nice and thin and the ginger melts in your mouth. It is does not have a strong pickling taste,which is perfect for me. I would definitely buy this again.

Contains artificial sweeteners

I was surprised to see this product contains aspartame. It was ok otherwise with big pieces of ginger but for those of us with intolerance to non nutritive sweeteners this is a terrible product.

Delicious!

Beautiful ginger. I've used it with sushi, salads and chopped up in cakes too.
