Addictive Texture

Eaten straight from tub after defrosting at room temperature is the best. Love the idea of this being an organic superfood, but the added cane syrup makes it a dairy-free dessert to enjoyed when you're craving something sweet

Consistently being under filled

I have been buying this for several years, and absolutely love it, but this product is now being consistently under filled and we are not getting the advertised weight. As far as I can tell, the density of the product has not changed (it does sometimes vary in form - sometimes it's more crystallised, other times not). I'm certainly not getting what I'm paying for.

Extremely sweet…

I didn’t enjoy the flavour of this sorbet. I do enjoy the flavour of Acia fruit on occasion. Still it is an acquired taste that maybe I haven’t altogether acquired. So perhaps this sorbet would be more enjoyable to eat for someone who is a real fan. However I am not convinced, because the actual fruit flavour is relegated to the background, over powered by a sickly sweet taste. The packaging doesn’t give the percentage of added sugar, if this were low enough to be considered healthy I think that they would likely provide this information. So you’re shipping a non local fruit between continents only to destroy any health benefits it might have by adding a decent quantity of extra refined sugar. Then charging a premium price. As other have said, the packaging is unhelpful environmentally and ergonomically. As other have also noted sorbet is rock hard, unless whole pot is left out of freezer until almost completely melted or actively heated up which seems unwise with a plastic container. Melting passively or otherwise seems like a bacterial hazard unless planning to eat the whole tub at once first time around. If you don’t want to let it melt in the tub you may find you have to chip off laboriously. Maybe this product was trying to cover too many bases and didn’t succeed in any of these area’s. One could instead buy a well balanced sweet sharp sugar full sorbet that doesn’t claim health benefits, or some delicious frozen whole fruit berries full of natural health promoting chemicals, or some Acia berries in another form preserved without sugar. I bought this tub by accident having put it into my trolley with intention of reading ingredients and reviews later, I then neglected to remove it. Expensive mistake. As above overall I don’t think this sorbet is worth the effort or the cost to planet or purchaser.
