Preparation and Usage

For our recipe you will need.
300ml (1/2 pint) water

Directions...
1. Mix the sachet contents with the water in a small saucepan.
2. Bring to the boil gently, stirring continuously. Simmer for 1-2 minutes, until the gravy is rich and smooth.

For a little inspiration...
Delicious with roast chicken, stuffing, potatoes and vegetables. Replace a little of the water with the juices from your roast chicken and add a splash of white wine for a richer flavour.

Microwave (800W)...
Microwave ovens vary. The following is a guide only.
Empty the sachet contents into a large microwaveable bowl or jug. Mix in the water and heat on full power for 4 minutes, stirring every minute until rich and smooth. Stir well and ensure piping hot before serving.

Instructions

Stove Top Method:
Empty packet contents into a small saucepan. Blend in 300ml (1/2 pint) water and bring to the boil, stirring. Simmer for 1-2 minutes until the gravy has thickened.
Microwave Method (750 Watt):
Empty packet contents into a large microwaveable bowl or jug. Blend in the water. Cook on high for 4 minutes, stirring every minute until thickened. Stir well before serving.

Serving Suggestion:
Replace a little of the water with the juices from the roast chicken and add a dash of white wine for that extra special flavour!

Great if you dont like flavour

A very bland gravy with no actually chicken to flavour it when I looked at the ingredients after purchase. Okay as an addition to a weak homemade gravy where you dont have enough meat juice to work with for a strong enough flavour thats the only use I found for this.

very tasty with a lovely flavour

We love this gravy when added to the bird juices & reduced down a little. The thing we always laugh at however is that one sachet apparently serves 6 people, I mean really? I use two sachets for two of us & theres rarely any left over.

Easy gravy

We don't often have gravy so it's handy to have these sachets in when we need or want them. I always use the roasting juices in my gravy and this works well for a nice light chicken gravy.
