Live Ultra Brights Or Pastel Purple Punk 094 is a semi-permanent hair dye designed for bleached blonde to dark blonde hair. Express your colour creatively with built-in electrifying pigments or pastel shades as an all-over hue or subtle streaks that last up to 15 washes.
Live top tips:
- For long or thick hair we recommended using two packs
- Go pastel by mixing Colour Cream with Conditioner included
- This shade is recommended for hair colours bleached blonde to dark blonde
- Dark hair? Pre-lighten with Live Intense Lightener for a soft pastel result
- Results may vary on previously coloured hair
Preparation and Usage
- For long or thick hair we recommended using two packs
- Go pastel by mixing Colour Cream with Conditioner included

- Dark hair? Pre-lighten with Live Intense Lightener for a soft pastel result
- Results may vary on previously coloured hair
- Use a clarifying/deep cleanse shampoo directly before application
1. Preparation:
- Wash your hair with a mild shampoo and towel dry it
- Before applying your colour, cover your clothing with an old towel/cape
2. Application:
- Follow application process for either pastel, full head, dip dye or highlight application
- Leave formula to develop for 20-30 minutes
3. Rinsing:
- Rinse hair under warm water until water runs clear
4. Conditioning:
- Apply Live Care Conditioner and leave in for 2 minutes
- Rinse thoroughly, hair is left feeling soft and shiny
The colour result will depend on your natural hair colour. The table on the back of the pack provides an indication of the colour result that can be obtained with this shade. Results may vary on previously coloured hair. For long or thick hair we recommend using two packs.

Do not use to dye eyelashes or eyebrows. Rinse hair well after application. Wear suitable gloves (gloves included in the pack).

Vibrant Colour But Fades Quickly
I am reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. Thankfully my daughter stepped up to try this for me and luckily we are on school holidays!! No gloves contained but it did state this on the box and said that it was due to the Covid situation which was fair enough. Used rubber gloves instead. Daughter has light brown hair and the colour did take but it was more of a tone as opposed to fully vibrant colour. If you are looking for vibrant purple hair that doesn't fade then this product is not for you, but if you like a subtle hint, its great. Obviously if you have very light hair/blonde hair the outcome would be different.
Best for light coloured hair
Nice hair dye, but my hair is too dark for it. You need lighter hair for it to really work and get the vibrancy packet suggests up to dark blonde. No gloves included in the packet so make sure that you have some, a sticker on the front said this was due to the global situation and to use household gloves so make sure you have these available or youll get caught purple handed!

Received this to review, and as my hair is darker, we tried it on my daughters mid blonde hair as an ombre effect. Despite using the additional conditioner pack (supposedly to get a pastel shade) it came out pretty dark, but after only one wash has faded a reasonable amount. Thats fine by us, but it would be disappointing if you wanted to maintain a deep purple for a number of weeks, maybe better if the additional conditioner was not used. The directions say anything over chin length needs two packs- the one pack was fine for the 6-8 we dyed. All in all a fun option that doesnt require a long term commitment.
