Best beer
We order this regularly and its a very tasty beer.
A reliable favourite!
Easy drinking ale of choice. Pairs well with many dishes, or works as a session ale. Very popular, and for a good reason in my humble opinion. I only wish the cans were still available!
Gorgeous Ale
Doombar is I very tasty and easy to drink ale. it's not too tangy like some with no over powering taste. it's just right. I'm not a big drinker but I'll happily take to some doombar
Perfect for a Lady who Enjoys a Shandy
This is such a lovely beer that I can actually manage a small glass full by itself, but I do love a really good half and half shandy and this absolutely hits the spot. I have to stop myself going back for another every time! Fruity, sweet with just a hint of sharp bitterness. Favourite with a good hot curry, but occasionally I will have a fried fish and it is perfect. I will have a couple of units of alcohol a month .... A lovely tot of single malt, a glass of champagne or a Doom beer.
Nice.
A great all-round ale. Perfect with a curry or fish and chips.
Not what it used to be.
Don't be fooled! It's not brewed in Cornwall any more but instead in Burton upon Trent. Somehow it doesn't seem to taste as good as it used to.
