Great for meatball pasta
I cook two packs with passata and herbs and garlic for a great meatball pasta for my daughter. I add a full pack of pasta and it makes about 8 portions for the freezer
Perfect for a family dinner!
This is really useful to have in the fridge. Great for a quick dinner with some pasta and lasts for ages.
smells sooo good
i definitely need to stock these all time
Disgusting mechanically recovered meatballs
Where to start - I bought these without reading the reviews. After attempting to eat them last night, I decided I should contact Ocado to advise them to stop stocking them, but looking at the number of good reviews I decided the more urgent public service was to warn people not to buy them. It states quite clearly on the front of the packet "Not for EU" why not - one may ask. My husband, who opened the packet, couldn't put one near his mouth even after drenching them with a delicious lingonberry sauce. The stench when he opened the packet was still lingering in his nostrils. I was quite hungry and ate one - awful sludgy texture and weird flavour. The second I spat out immediately as I bit on a bit of bone, or tooth, from what is obviously mechanically recovered meat. A truly dreadful product. AVOID!
Loved these!
Swedish meatballs and spongier and less meaty than British meatballs, so that may affect your opinion but we love these easy to grab from the fridge just for a snack cold, or pretty good hot. Wouldnt use them in a pasta sauce, but more alongside other smackerels as a smorgasbord! Go great with the Swedish beetroot salad that Ocado sell.
Horrid
Really not nice at all. Not a patch on the SkandiKitchen Kotbullar Swedish Meatballs. Just about edible in a sauce but the texture is hard on the outside and squidgy inside. Wouldn't buy again.
