A truly delicious classic
If you have never tried before, it is a squidgy, fruity loaf that is somewhere between a bread and cake, though its gloriously sticky, reasonably dense texture is identifiable in its own right. It has a delicious malty flavour and is chock-full of plump, juicy raisins that keep it moist. Having recently tried a supermarket own-brand malt loaf, I can safely say that nothing compares to my beloved Soreen and I doubt I will stray from it again!
Excellent
Fantastic as it has always been. Delicious!
Thumbs up
What a treat it was to buy this again. Love this just spread with butter and a loaf does not last long!
Love these
I just wish that Ocado could deliver a loaf in the condition it left Soreen, i.e. loaf shaped and not crushed and distorted.
Lovely and improved
It went down hill you couldnt even cut it it was so soft but now things have improved its as it was lovely and sticky and tasty
a lunchbox staple
I've been eating Soreen for as long as I can remember. Always delicious. I've no idea why another reviewer is saying it contains 30 spoons of sugar. An entire loaf has just over 30g of sugars, including those from dried fruit. Does stick to the teeth though.
