I use this on porridge. Lovely flavour and you don't need loads to be able to taste it.

Perfectly adequate

This is perfectly good light syrup; very similar to many I have had in Canada. Its by no means up there with the best (but I have been spoiled as my brother used to make it from his own trees in Muskoka), but neither is it bad. Slightly bemused by some of the comments; amber syrup is MEANT to be quite light and runny; if you want more punch just buy the dark syrup.
