Product information

A delicious alternative latte created using organic ground turmeric enhanced with cinnamon and black pepper.  It has a base of coconut milk powder and is sweetened with a little raw crystallised coconut nectar, and makes a frothy, warming and comforting drink.  Made quickly and simply by adding water, you can take and make it anywhere.

Turmeric is the ground root of the Curcuma Longa plant, a herbaceous perennial belonging to the ginger family. It has been used for thousands of years throughout the Orient where it has been recognised for its amazing properties and is even used as a component in religious ceremonies. Because of its brilliant yellow colour, turmeric is also known as “Indian saffron”.

Easy to make and tasty. Use a bit more than it suggests for a creamier drink.

A little weird but nice

This took a little getting use to but after the first few sips really enjoyed it. If you like curry and coffee then you'll probably like this - difficult to describe if its sweet or savoury - almost like a week coconut curry cup a soup - would buy again

Sadly not for me

As I think another reviewer mentioned, I really went into this wanting to like it. I made it exactly as per the instructions and then I made a second one adding a third of hot milk to make it more latte-like. However I couldnt get over the feeling that it felt like I was drinking curry water! Sorry.

Not for me

Wouldn't really call this a 'latte'. For me it was like a glorified herbal tea. Taste was quite sweet and not too bad but I didn't like the consistency. Quite expensive as well.
