Used to buy this years ago
I used to buy this many years ago and it was delicious, now it has changed and tastes like what I would imagine whale blubber to taste like. It made me feel really sick. The only thing it has going for it is the price has barely gone up in ten years.
Worked as a butter substitute
Worked as a butter substitute in my white sauce for a vegan Mac n cheese. It passed when spread on toast. I’ve not used it for baking. I prefer this to some other spreads because it contains few ingredients and no additives.
Best dairy \x26 soya alternative
The best dairy and soya free butter alternative for my daughter with various allergies. Tests almost like milk butter. Brilliant stuff!
Nice spread!
It melts nicely on a toast.
Doesn’t work as a spread
Not great as a butter replacement, have ended up using it for cooking. It’s fine for that, but not worth the cost. If you’re looking for a vegan butter substitute on Ocado, Flora Buttery is a better bet.
great trex replacement
I am trying to move away from palm oil and tried this as a trex replacement in vegan buttercream and it worked beautifully. I keep it in the fridge so perhaps the people experiencing a fishy flavour have some rancid oil? I need to try it on toast next to find out if it is going to work as a margarine replacement.
