Disgusting smell and no cooking instructions
I bought these on offer, pleased I didn't pay full price as they stink and are made of what seems to be exactly the same stuff as all the similar so-called sausgaes which I don't buy because they all stink too. OK if you have a stong stomach and don't care what you eat but these are foul. No cooking instructions on the packet either. Absolutely foul.
Very disappointing
Any meat replacement needs to be as good as or better than meat for taste and texture. These crazily expensive items fail miserably on both counts. Until someone produces a more palatable product I regret that I shall be sticking with real sausages made with organic pork.
Gorgeous organic vegan sausages!
These are gorgeous! Leagues above all other vegan sausages, made with simple, clean organic ingredients. They have a glorious savoury flavour - not too spicy but deliciously aromatic, and a lovely moist chewy texture. The flavour and texture is outstanding, especially for plant based organic sausages. They also cook brilliantly from frozen. Perfect in every way!
Miss these
These are nice, but their price now isn't justified
ok, hard to crisp up
just strips of tofu, really, and hard to see as sausage replacement. Not unpleasant
unpleasant
I bought because of the positive reviews but when I got them out of the packaging I could see they were a sort of formed homogenous paste or mush, so I cut them with a sharp knife into sausage bites for frying to try to give them colour and texture. They browned a little but essentially stayed like mush pieces that were horrible to eat. I felt queasy about what Id eaten and binned the rest. Yuk! Tiba tempeh chilli pieces are much nicer, nuttier in flavour and have texture to them.
