Not perfect... little choice
I used to prefer Billington's Crystals for coffee - but these seem to be discontinued by the manufacturer. Cubes work if you want to control your sugar intake or the ideal strength of your coffee. But these are just generic, nothing special, in terms of sugar, and too granulated. The packaging is poor. I have dispensed of the box entirely - it is not pragmatic. Crystal sugar appears very limited for coffee options; cubes seem the only alternative but that, too, is limited to either this or the M&S rough cut option. Not perfect, but not the end of the world either.
disappointing
Dull, uniform and not as good a taste as other brands . Expensive for what they are
Acceptable, not impressive
The cubes are a tad on the small side, resulting in the “too much vs too little” dilemma, but flavour seems ok. Not exactly demerara, but not like what is normally called brown sugar. It is demerara colour, but has a slightly more molasses flavour. Not the best sugar cubes, but fits the bill. Packaging ok, could be better.
good product, packaging to be tweaked
Sugar cubes are much better as portion control and they last well but it would be better if there was away of securing the packaging once opened . I generally decant to an airtight jar/pot or place the box and contacts in a sandwich bag
mixed reviews.. but its just sugar
Box was different than I expected thought it would be square but its a narrow box. I do agree with one reviewer saying about how the sugar may be better decanted into a jar to keep it fresh over time as the box doesnt seem to be designed with that in mind. But as far as taste goes.. its sugar and went very nicely in a cup of coffee so no complaints here. Would be nice to have more variety to choose from.
packaging
Sugar is okayish but the packaging is just no good. Hard to open and then it cant be closed. Ive never seen anything more poorly designed.
