It clumps...
Unlike the other well-known brand (which is usually about the same price) T&L Golden Caster Sugar clumps. It breaks up again without too much pounding, but the other name brand doesn't clump.
Decent sugar
Light toffee flavour free flowing
best flavour
Best flavour sugar I have found: toffeey-like not sharp
Why is it in plastic?
Love golden caster sugar but why does it have to come in plastic, when the white carter sugar comes in paper? Come on!
Misleading? How can cane sugar be British?
The Ocado website states the country of origin as United Kingdom. The packet says pure cane sugar. To the best of my knowledge, sugar cane is not grown in the United Kingdom. Ocado- please sort this out.
wet and clumpy \- the worst of its kind
Had no choice but to get this as all the other golden casters were out of stock, and instantly remembered why I don't buy it. Huge clumps and distinctly moist texture. Totally unlike lovely free-flowing Billingtons or even the M&S own brand version. Will not buy again.
