Great taste and texture
Lovely caramel taste and it's a paste which makes it much easier to use in salad dressings and dips compared to grains. Yes the pack is slightly annoying but I think it goes off / dries out without this, and it works well with a bit of warm water
Perfect for making sambal and pad thai
I've used this to make both sambal and pad thai and it's delicious. Not sure what it tastes like on itwn own but as an ingredient in malaysian/thai cuisine - it does the job.
Tastes nice, but unusable packing
Tastes alright but the packaging makes it impossible to use - a squigy plastic pouch of gloop tightly rolled up in a small plastic tub with no way of storing it with the gloop coming out everywhere once opened. I won't buy again.
great taste
Great tasting palm sugar.
love it but hate the packaging
I buy this all the time and it works brilliantly in my Thai curries and salads. I like that it isn't rock hard like other brands. I also like that it isn't crystals as sometimes those are harder to dissolve in a cold dressing. The packaging annoys me. It's impossible to keep the pouch clean, so even just for a small squeeze I end up with messy hands. There's also so much waste. I almost wish this came in a squeeze tube like toothpaste.
goooood!
