No pleasant
Not a great deal of flavour and a very unpleasant texture almost powdery. Will stick with the madras
Awful
This curry sauce was awful. It had horrible flavour it was grainy and watery and just tasted of cumin. I’ve had the Rogan Josh version of this brand before which was quite nice but this was inedible. Very very disappointed
Really good range of sauces
Slowly making my way through this range of curry sauces and this one did not disappoint. Agree with others in that it doesnt taste like a tikka masala, but I delicious all the same. Cooked in the slow cooker with cubes lamb and it made a super easy mid week meal. We prefer our food quite spicy and I didnt really find there was much heat to this though, so would spice it up a bit with some chilli flakes next time.
Tastes like Pataks
Well this was disappointing, just tasted like a cheap jar of Pataks. A long way from the promised restaurant quality!
Disappointing
All heat and no flavour.
No thank you!
Tried this based on the good reviews, however we both hated it, it definitely does not taste like any tikka masala curry I have ever had before. Spice Taylor curries are a million times better - far tastier and we stick to those in future.
