Sooo different
These have been my go-to for years and now the pack size is reduced and the flavour is nothing like a real smoked almond. And the photo is not the same as the new packaging which reads "smokey flavoured almonds". Will not be buying again.
Entirely Different Now
I used to love Dormen's smoked almonds - they were one of my treats. They had a genuine flavour .....of smoked almonds. Delicious. Now so disappointed to find that they are nothing more than almonds that have been covered in an unpleasant, unnatural tasting, flavoured concoction of substances. Ugh! Might as well buy some cheap flavoured crisps if that is your thing. Quality and taste completely gone. Will not buy again.
Used to be better
These used to have a really good smokey taste . Should contain a pack warning CONTAINS GARLIC
Much smaller amount suddenly
Last year, these packets were 140g for the same price. Now they are 85g! That's 40% less for the same price, which was already high.
Used to be better?
Not sure if I'm imagining it but I think they may have changed the recipe at some point. They used to taste like smoked almonds and now taste like regular almonds covered in powder that imitates the flavour. Not a fan.
Nice, but...
I was sent these as a substitution for the Blue Diamond Smokehouse almonds. If I had tried these first I would've said they were great but unfortunately they're not a patch on the Blue Diamond ones (which are sooo smokey and salty) whereas these are more of a subtle flavour.
