What do we mean by Jolly Good Food? We mean food full of full-on flavour that you'll want to share. Food made with real care, championing animal welfare and protecting our planet. Jolly Good Food for jolly good times - from our family to yours.
Once upon a time, our lives were very different. A rugby player, a ship broker and a cabinet maker - three brothers united by a love of food, in search of the perfect sausage.
2007 - Given a sausage maker by his wife for his birthday, Olly makes our first ever sausage in his flat. Soon they're sizzling nicely and selling fast - starting in the carpark of Twickenham Stoop stadium.
After several summers sharing jolly good times and selling jolly good sausages at festivals, we open our first restaurant.
2015 - Pigsty
Our sausages hit the shops. Bacon quickly follows.
2020 - Lockdown. A bit of a gamechanger - restaurants and events go on the backburner, but our shop sales are heating up!
2022 - Our commitment to do business responsibly is recognised as we become a B Corp. We're jolly proud.
What's next? We'll, the future's looking tasty.

Watery and very salty
So disappointed with this bacon. I know its not dry cured but I wasnt prepared for the amount of water that would come out of it. I like salty food but found this too salty. I will not buy again.
Something has changed
These used to be really good bacon rashers. Now they are like cheap bacon. white stuff comes out whilst cooking and the rasher curls up so cannot cook evenly We will have to try other varieties
best bacon
I wish i hadnt been swayed to buying a competitors bacon as the pack was larger but then if I hadnt I wouldnt have realised that this is , without a doubt, the best bacon to have in a sandwich. Its tasty, the right thickness and dry cured. I wont be buying any others..
Not so jolly this time!
I buy this bacon every week but the rashers in the last pack were cut very thinly and stuck together so that I couldn’t remove from the pack without them falling apart. Also was very salty.
bit salty
I like the fact that this bacon uses traditional techniques and it is tasty if a tad salty
Salty
We've been buying this brand for years but recently it has been very salty and unpleasant to eat.
